The IPRO Touchscreen Flash Tuner by O.CT Tuning makes the programming possible for your vehicles ECU (aka your car's brain) via the diagnostic interface (ODB II). The most current Tuning data - particularly coordinated with your vehicle - are made available to ICS Performance via the Internet.
At present, there are more than 150 vehicles are in the program (see vehicle lists). Our vehicle lists are constantly extended with new vehicle models as they become available. Manufacturers include: Audi / Volkswagen, Porsche, Chrysler, KIA, Alfa, Hyundia. Feel free to email us for particular model availability.
The O.CT Tuning Technology Chain:
The O.CT Tuning IPRO System takes simple ECU Flash Tuning to a whole new level. The diagram above gives you an idea of how the system works. For vehicles where there is currently software available, the process couldn't be easier. Once your vehicle arrives at the ICS Facilities, the handheld IPRO Touchscreen is connected to your vehicle via the On-Board-Diagnostic Port. With a few touches of the screen, the new software data is "flashed" into your vehicle's ECU and you are set to enjoy your new found power.
Should your vehicle not be in the current database, all is not lost. What would happen at this is we would still bring your vehicle in for the flash, but first, O.CT needs the base code to work with. How does O.CT get the base code you ask, it is very simple actually. We would hook up a new vehicle in the same way, pull the base code via the IPRO which in turn sends that file to O.CT Headquarters and the country importer. Should the importer not have the new vehicle files in their master database, the file is automatically dumped into the "to program" system. Once that is received, a new file is written and sent back to the IPRO Touchscreen that called for it and from that point, the software gets flash loaded into the vehicle. From time to time, O.CT will look to their dealer network for specific vehicles for new software. Should your vehicle fit the bill, and you decide to pull the trigger on software, you may be eligible to get in on some free dyno time for research and development.
